Welcome to my site. I specialise in Shakespeare and early modern English literature. I am a Departmental Lecturer in English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford (Jesus College) and a Visiting Research Fellow at King’s College London. The main purpose of this site, aside from giving a few details about my publications and research interests, is to provide online materials and/or holding pages for various research projects. My three recent projects are 1) Wartime Shakespeare, a Leverhulme-funded project that involves a monograph, edited collection, public exhibition at the National Army Museum (2023-24), and an Oxford Bibliographies resource, 2) Publishing the History Play in the Time of Shakespeare, my first monograph, which was published by Cambridge University Press in 2022, and 3) Authorships and Authority in Early Modern Dramatic Paratexts, a monograph project, which derives from my 2018/19 SRS Postdoctoral Fellowship and is under contract with Routledge. An in-progress data table linked to this project can be found under ‘Resources’. Separate pages and links to online materials will be uploaded soon. I may also ramble about these projects as part of a (very) intermittent blog on this site.

Thanks for visiting.
